SP201-SA™ Customization and Maintenance Guide

Note: In all commands, make sure you type the port number or trunk

number that corresponds to the port you are configuring, regardless of the

port or trunk number shown in the instructions.

For details of SP201-SA port numbering, see the Note in Section 1.3,

Connecting the SP201-SA to the Telephony Network.

Perform the following steps to configure the system-level parameters:

1 Use the config time command to set the SignalPath’s time. See

Section 2.3.1, The config time Command.

2 Use the config lim command to configure the impedances on the port

interfaces. See Section 2.3.2, The config lim Command.

Command Name Description

config time Configures the time for the SP201-SA. See

Section 2.3.1, The config time Command.

config lim Configures the port interfaces on the

SP201-SA. See Section 2.3.2, The config lim

Command.

Note: The config lim command affects the

parameters that other commands present. You

must perform the config lim command before

performing any other commands.

config clocks Specifies the primary and secondary clock

sources for the system. See Section 2.3.3, The

config clocks Command.

config framers Configures hardware parameters for

individual trunks. See Section 2.3.4, The

config framer Command.

config alarms Enables or disables trunk alarm reporting.

See Section 2.3.5, The config alarms Command.

config almrelay Relays alarm conditions to other trunks. See

Section 2.3.6, The config almrelay Command.
